I know one china girl for a year
But due to some reasons she is not willing to come Singapore to be with me
But she still keep in contact at least once a week. That's about 6 month since I last saw her.
Is there any future in this relationship?

That is hardly rational. The island may be full of locals, but what's good about locals if one has no relationship with them?

On the other hand, the person far away could be a foreigner, but because of the relationship already forged, she is no stranger.

Hence it makes total sense for the ts to consider whether there is any future in cultivating such a relationship.

She may not be a stranger to the thread starter but she's from a different gene pool. If they get together and have kids, it'll will spell the eventual downfall of the country.
