Yes; it is true that you don't talk when you are walking on the road. Even when you partner bring a bag; make sure it is sling across your shoulder. This will reduce being targeted. BTW why are you so interested going into the dark Alley when you are a foreigner. There are pickpockets too. Just be careful when u go into crowded place. Put your wallet at the front pockets rather than the back pockets.

Better to hang around at places which are foreigner friendly. In tourist area snatch thief and pickpocket are normal. I witness twice bag beig snatch by motorbike robber. Outside tourist area even worse. My vietnamese friend warn me not to loiter around too much outside district 1.

My friend went off to explore massage parlour outside tourist area, after pay 300K tip, girl demand 1mil from him which he refuse to give. Girl call in few guys corner him threaten to whack him. In the end no choice LL pay them 1mil. Vietnam is not foreigner friendly. Play safe.

That why when you are a foreigner; please don't go such places alone. Few years ago; my frd call a WL to the hotel; before the job WL demand USD 100 instead of 1 Million of the agree price. My friend refuse to pay; they WL make 1 call and 5 mins few guys came up to the hotel. Luckily that time we are back to the hotel; we hear the commotion and when they saw us coming and shouting at them they quickly left by the staircase. I scolded the hotel receptionist why he allow people to enter the hotel room without my friend approval. If you intended to call wechats WL; please ensure u do know well the receptionist. Normally; I will tips the receptionist each around 100K when I come back to Singapore; if they do a good job.

Bro, not so bad.
Just be careful and leave the expensive items at home. Just like you will do so when you travel to other cities.

When I travel, I use a cheapo phone. I leave my Rolex Patek watch and gold jewellery at home. I put credit cards and some money as reserves in hotel safe. I try not to pull my wallet or never use one in public.

When alone in strange cities, just go to more tourist places and don't venture too far. You can get most things or fun in District 1.

I have so many warning from friends and other brudders here. Never leave your mobile on the table especially open café table where anyone can hang around. It'll be snatched before you know it.

Heck even when you are talking on the phone on an open street, it can get snatch away, not to mentioned handbag for ladies too. Guys ona motorbike will ride pass, grip it and ride away.

So be very careful and mindful about personal belonging.

I read somewhere also be careful about guy asking to polish your shoe. I wear one of those sneaker shoe also got approach wanting to polish it for me, I am like wtf. Apparently this people will do a quick job, then ask for US$40-50 if you don't pay then a few chaps will round you up.

Hi bros . I am up in can tho. Went to a massage place but when I see the package I opt for the one with the shortest time at 50min for 150vnd. I was only offered bbbj hj. Is it because I didn't select the deluxe or VIP package that's why no fj?

Most of the girls are not allowed to fj in room. At most you get is bbbj cum hj. So already very good if you get bbbj in room.

Not refer to Can Tho massage or spa but in general other major cities in Vietnam too. For VIP package you get a girl in bikinis to bathe you. Super VIP means you get a girl naked bathe with you in the tub.

Fj usually will need to arrange separately in hotel if the girl know you well enough.
