In aviation history, this is the only airliner in the world to lose 2 airlines in 4 months. However this lost might be temporary, after investigation someone has to compensate Malaysia airline. What would the amount be, I do not know. This could be a huge compensation. Vastly different from MH370. Someone head has to be on chopping board, and this time definitely not Malaysian themselves. There will also be panic attack hence the huge dip to 18% now 13%. Whether the price will recover or not it will really depend in the fate people have in Malaysian airline and the compensate they get. Shutting down the Malaysian airline is surely out of the question. No country will operate without an airliner, especially Malaysia has a significant population themselves. But I am very skeptical that Malaysia airline is gonna recover much, not only because of the contribution from this 2 disaster but how their govt handles issues. This is definitely going into lawsuit and dragged for many years.
