I stayed once in Pham Ngu Lao area, Vien Dong hotel which was more than 10 yrs ago.. Next trip I planning to stay there again... anyone here has good recommendation? If not, then I will follow uncle google reviews.

Conditions are simple.... a proper hotel room with a safe, budget 30-40 SGD and of cause nobody bothers about my ger. Not dom type.

just finished my 4 days refamiliarisation of HCM, tried bia om, cafe om, massage, local KTV, hot toc, BJ salon, bar at bui vien, even wechat. conclusion, to get anything near a 6/10 or 7/10 quality girl need to spend upwards of 200$, bye bye HCM, wont be cheonging here anymore :(

i a planning a trip to HCM.. i heard stories of bag snatching and robbing,
how true is it? i have read all the guides.. dute to some few month back or even years, any update of the latest location.

i plan to stay on bui vien street nearr to ben thanh side to ease myself walking around. any comments welcome thanks in advance

Hello everyone!

Back from a recent trip, this is my review of Liberty Saigon Hotel Spa

Address: 256 Pham Ngu Lao Street (Near Vien Dong Hotel)

Price: 230000 dong (Massage+Sauna+30min foot massage)

Ambience: Quieter and less people than Vien Dong
Massage room: Never off light, room has window - quite uncomfy
Massage technique: No good, but this is luck
HJ: Tip 300000

But for 230000, they throw in a 30 min foot massage, which other places might not provide, is a good one, by a pretty girl, not men.

I recommend: I prefer Vien Dong~ but can try this!

Read up previous thread. Enough warning of snatch theft when you talking on your phone and walking without paying attention. Also snatch theft of handbags, sling bags and cameras.

Robbery not so happening unless you venture into dark alleys alone outside of tourists places.

Fully agreed with you. Hcm is a worst place to get a pretty girl for overnight.
Most need to pay alot of time and investment before can reap rewards.
If no time to fish then head to other countries which specialise in chicken farms.
