Its easy to say to find a new one. But to me what I would suggest is to try to forget her first aka move on. Drink and get wasted if you want, find a hobby you love, focus on your work (take up addtl tasks or get a 2nd job to occupy your time until evening) talk to your friends. In time it will heal and then you can find a new one.

"Lost" is subjective.

Loss of wife/partner through death is hard to move on and the pain is unimaginable. I hope no one have to experience this kind in our lifetime (yea we should die first lol)

Loss because of any other thing. Just focus on yourself. Make yourself busy. Work harder in your job, get a second job, put up a business, enroll on new studies, hang out with friends, fck around. I've experienced this too many times and it always worked it charm.

You don't until you find true love agian, you may stop loving and missing them, but the wound still festers, the scar still hurts and the hole is forever empty.

16 years for me already, having new dates, GFs and WLs does nothing.

Only person who came close was that one girl ive met in a cafe, an absolute angle but sadly her age then wasn't appropriate. I still wish i can meet her again everyday.

Just start talking to someone else and find a new target soon if you can. Memories will come back but the pain will fade. Take care.
