The type you eat to your fill and still ta pau for a later munch. Yet it's only $2.50 for a good portion.
This place serves classic old school Cantonese dark sauce #Wanton mee prepared by couple of senior aunties that starts about 5am in the morning to cater to the early risers.
The noodle used is of the old school QQ type. Wanton is compact and stuffed with prawns and pork. Char siew is not the fatty type.
Laksa, chicken feet and shredded chicken noodles are also available here.
Ketchup, green chilli and a potent chilli sauce are put on the side for you to add on.
Stall closes at 2pm and is known to have a stream of loyal lunch crowd so do avoid peak hours.

This vegeterian food also suitable for ah gong and ah mah. Also sell porridge to go with the dishes.

This vegetarian bee boon is breaking the $2 barrier.
The Bukit Gombak neighborhood may not be convenient to many but they sure have good and cheap gems all over. This neighborhood also has a lot of Malay food choices.
During my recent trip there I was treated to a freshly cooked hor fun and added the mock goose, black fungus and mock sweet and mock pork ingredients to sample.
Very good portion ; very good vegetarian culinary skills.
