Correct. Prostitution is not illegal in Singapore.

What the AV are after are:
Those who illegally allow premises to be used as unlicensed brothel.
Those who make money illegally from prostitution.
Those who hire underaged girls
Those who are contravening their work permit, or visa entry requirements

Prostitution in Singapore is not a crime, visiting pros is also not a crime. It is only a crime if its involves a minor. The WL are seldom charged for anything other then violation of their social visit pass. They are not even charged for prostituting themselves...unless they advertise their services..

Don’t think there is any issue with having sex at illegal joint or unlicensed place for the guy, as long as it is not in a public place/ view.

At most police will only take down your particulars for reference. Just cooperate and you will probably be allowed to go.

Actually if AV want to be nasty they can sent the FL for medical examination and charge her if found to be carrying STDs. The law is there but it is seldom used as it is troublesome and involves getting her clients to testify or make an SD.... which many are reluctant to assist due to the shame of everyone else knowing they call chicken.
