Hi bro, I think your calculation errs on the generous side.

OKT 's take is normally $70 and not $80. If his wl answers the call of another house, OKT's take is only $40. A wl does not work 30 days per month and may be only 24 days plus or minus one day considering her monthly period or sickness or kena STD. Only an angpai could service 10 to 12 clients per working day. An ordinary one may have only 6 customers.

A wl may leave for PRC earlier than 24 months for one reason or another eg being paoed, failure to fit into GL's world, etc. Then OKT will have apply to AV to get a replacement gal. There will be a gap, 2 to 6 weeks to get a new gal to come in for health checks before earning money. There is no income for that quota during that length of time.

There is another source of income for OKT: collecting rental from the wls for their sleeping rooms. I understand the rate varies from $150 to 450 per month.

Meanwhile, to be fair to OKT, the rental for a brothel house or apartment is certainly not low. I believe more than half of OKTs rent the operating places from landlords.

It is not easy to be a good OKT. He needs to please cheongsters and keep his clientele base. One needs to source attractive and service oriented wls and manged them. Managing PRC wls is not easy lah. Meanwhile, he will have to run the brothel well so as not get into trouble with AV. A more serious breach of rules could mean a suspension of operation for a period of 1 week to 3 months or a permanent closure eg 3033 and 2831B( moved to 1431 now) had been suspended for a full 3 months. Some wls were transferred to other houses with the approval of AV. These two OKTs had no choice but to recruit new wls in effect they were out of business longer than 3 months.

I would rather go for a less demanding job with lower pay than to be an OKT.

I am sure many bros will have better inside than me. Please update and correct me if I give incorrect facts or provide wrong figures.

Protocol to apply for license? Any information provided for sharing ?

Hi bro,

I don't know how AV would grant an OKT licence. Based on hearsay, one must not have criminal record or connection to certain groups of undesirable activities. Secondly, one needs previous brothel operational experience be an OKT or assistant OKT. Thirdly, one needs to convince them you have the financial resources to run that establishment.

I believe some senior members are in a better position to offer you advice.
