Experience is HCM, in my personal opinion is 'you never know what you will get'. What I do is to keep an open mind and lower my expectations - there have been pleasant surprises and experiences which I enjoyed.

I must admit HCM (and mostly Vietnam) is definitely more challenging than Jakarta, Manila or Bangkok, where first timers can hit the jackpot with minimum hand holding. :D

..and because HCM is so challenging, cheongsters keep going back to try their luck. Just like those mountain climbers at Mt Everest :)

Most of the time I opt for standard room for massage which cost from 120 to 150k in hcm and tip 200k but shower ownself in common area lah. . Once a while I will try those VIP one. A lot depend on luck especially wechat gal. 50/50 Chance. Normally; wechat gal try not to call them overnight cos they would want to go back early. My frd called we chat gal few times. Once the gal is different from the pics; they will reject not paying any transportation fees at all. U got to be firm and tell the pimp up front. KTV gals unless you know the pple in KTV if not they will want to go home early too. all those massage place that are being shared here is too “tourist popular” and thus the lousy services. when u are taking grab or eating dinner, try talk to the driver or waiter in simple english or google translate. some will tell u where do they usually go and it is quite cheap and service is good.

as for many bros asking regarding hotel, there are 1 thing call airbnb. u can bring anyone up as and when u like. why all still keep sticking with hotel?
