Not overly starchy, succulent oysters and a good sour chilli to match will be the key qualities of this popular fried oyster omelette stall. Thanks to a contributor Adrian Ong here, I manage to savor something very local upon my return.
Downside would be that it sells only in the evening and not very cheap, starts at $5 for a one person portion.
Nonetheless, a good ‪oyster‬ ‪omelette‬ that can complement the roasted meat rice, BBQ chicken or satay you may try at the same food Centre.

Opens 11am - 2pm except closed on Monday (but sometimes other days as well)

This roasted meat stall, manned by an old couple, is probably a well-kept secret to the heartlanders here in Toa Payoh Lor 4.
Quietly selling without much fanfare and publicity, you will find pretty limited daily quantity but fantastic roast ducks and char siew ribs here.
There will be a short queue most times you patronize and they sometimes sold out before 1pm.

Prices are $3 and onwards.
