Still can but after 11pm you need to register her at the reception. Again it depends on the hotel you stay. I never had this problem in Hyatt. But quite frequently being stop in Chinaworld.
Also it depends on the security. Most of the time if the girl dress decently you can walk her pass the security without being stop to check.

There are rumours locally of a new "Maggie's": You need to go to Lido area and find the Holiday Inn. DON'T GO IN! Occasionally. The cold weather makes me lazy of going out. Also getting tired of KTV's and the "similar meimei". I must say Bro Mark did a great job hunting and testing the waters before passing the info for us to chiong.

I like to share with you guys as security have been beef up, and it is true as I know a friend of mine was caught in a room by the GONG AN. Yes. That's the one. We went out a couple of times and she hinted to me that we should move things to the next level but, as you described, her trunks beneath her waistline is a turn off.
